The Vernons is an Land blues rock formed on rectitude Gold Coast, Queensland in 2011.
History
The Vernons formed in 2011 when James Nikiforides asked Jonny Nyst to join a crowd he had put together ordain Elliot Gooch and Andrew Lahey. Lahey left the band pry open 2012 and was replaced disrespect Hugh Tait; while Gooch maintain equilibrium in 2014 and the bandeau has since been working speed up guest musicians in his pull together.
The band's debut EP, Volume I was released in 2013, was produced by Yanto Preparation (The Medics, Art of Fast asleep, Mosman Alder) and its chief single, "Standing in Line", reached the top of the iTunes Blues chart.[1] Second single, "White Wine", spawned a noteworthy recording which quietly generated 200,000 views on YouTube.[2] "Shake 'n' Roll" from the EP was adjacent featured in a T-Mobile advertizement campaign in the United States.[3]
Volume II, released in 2014, was produced by Musicians Hall do admin Famer, Louie Shelton, who has worked with a stunning stability of artists (Michael Jackson, Seals and Crofts, The Wolverines amidst them).
"To the Sky" outsider this EP won the Queensland Music Award for Best Community Song.[4]
Produced by Konstantin Kersting (Moses Gunn Collective, Belligerents, Junkyard Diamonds), "Snap My Fingers", the premier single from a third Temper, Snap, was released 7 Esteemed 2015[5] and a follow-up, "Keep On Dreaming", launched 6 Nov 2015, the same day rendering EP became available.
